Great but expensive for what it is
This powder is nice, but I expected more given the high price. The packaging is stunning, typical of Hourglass, but the powder itself is just good, not exceptional. I had high hopes because I love their other powder products, especially the loose powder. This one could be more smoothing and blurring... I still prefer the Nars translucent powder to this one.

Lovely
This is a lovely powder don’t get my wrong but for the price point i think theres better. The packaging is beautiful as always with hourglass. But the powder is good its not bad it does what a powder should do but i think i had very high expectations seeing as its one hourglass and two a high price point. I love all hourglass powder products and i must say this one doesnt live up. Ive used there loose and absolutely love that one. I just think this could of been more smoothing and blurring.

Great as part of an hourglass product look
I use the Ambient powders and have done for many years since their release. I’m cautious about powders which risk settling into lines or pores so the ambients are amazing at not doing that. In no rush to replace but the reviews made me want to explore this new pressed powder. I use it along with other hourglass products and find it very effective for helping blot (set) the t zone. It’s a very soft and fine milled powder and it definitively helps longevity in areas where I am prone to oil. It’s not cakey and a lot easy to have to hand than the more oil absorbing loose powder. For on the go I will use this but will also keep the ambient on the go. This one really helps on concealer where the ambient is just a little too pearlescent. I have Nars and MAC powders and a Laura Mercer but I keep coming back to Hourglass as a staple for base products.

Minimises the appearance of pores
I am a big fan of Hourglasses’ Ambient Lighting powders so I was keen to try the Airbrush Pressed Powder and was not disappointed. I bought this product in the shade Translucent and when applied, my face was mattified without looking powdery. I found the powder helps to minimise the appearance of pores and blemishes. I generally use a powder brush to apply the product but find the applicator supplied great for setting concealer.

Great package, but not the perfect powder for me
I have had high expectation for this newly released pressed powder. The package is luxurious, as we get used to this brand. The powder is finally mild and looks very natural on the skin. However I do not see a filtering effect, which I was expecting. I will use it , but I am not sure I will buy again as I have other pressed powder from an other brand, which look more smooth and even and gives more filtering effect.
