Can’t go wrong!

This is such a great self tanner and is basically foolproof. I am a pale girlie and so am quite picky with my fake tan. This is my go-to product. I have both the light and the dark ones - the dark one works well for me if I want a decent amount of colour in one application, or I use the light one if I have time to build up over a couple of days. Personally I apply by spraying it directly onto the skin, or onto the mitt and rubbing in. I don’t saturate the skin as the instructions say, but this method works for me and I get a lovely even tan. I also like that you can apply in the morning and it develops throughout the day, as it doesn’t have a guide colour and you can’t feel it on your skin at all (it does have a slight fake tan smell though until you wash it off). 10/10

I saw hailey bieber use this tan on her face on one of her videos, so I purchased it myself to test out. I’m a avid user of facial tans. I have this spray in light and I find it leaves a lovely light glow to the skin. I haven’t tried it on the body yet. It is see through so I imagine it’s hard to see where it has been applied on the body.

Tan Luxe fan - but not this

I am a die-hard Tan Luxe fan, but this version disappoints I’m afraid. It’s really difficult to apply and get and get an even result. Because it has a water- like consistency, it can go everywhere and I find where I rub it in it disappears, and where I don’t rub it in it remains as a tanned patch. I tried using it in an empty mouse bottle , but it doesn’t work. I had to throw it out.

Not working for me

Tan luxe has an amazing, the best self tanner body mousse, in my opinion, but this mist is not it. I was really excited for the consistency and application, how great it will be and easy to apply. But this do nothing to my face, I do not see any color change, even applied 2 times a day, few days in a row. I apply it just as a face mist refreshener, it has nice smell but no self tanner benefits in this bottle.

Really even, natural tan

I was reluctant to try this as I have loved Tan Luxe the Gradual for years. I was looking for something that could be easier to apply and so went for this. I exfoliate before application and use a tanning mit to rub in the spray. I find that it rubs in really easily, isn't sticky, and doesn't transfer onto my clothes. The tan takes a few hours to appear and is really natural when it does. My only drawback is that I don't feel that it lasts that long. Although it does seem to evenly fade which is a bonus.
