Obsessed with this masque

After trying what seems like every face cream on the market, this masque is the only product that healed my dry winter skin. I could see hydration results after the first use. Now, I use it twice a week to maintain hydrated, glowy skin. Will purchase again!

Moisturising night masque

This masque is like your face drinking a litre of water overnight. When I wake up my face it noticeably softer and feels smooth all day. I find the smell lovely and calming before bed. My skin also appears brighter. I recommend you try a sample before purchase.

Bad skin reaction

I had a sachet of this product along with the Aesop Lucent Facial Concentrate and took both for the weekend away. As instructed have applied the night mask on my skin on its own, after my usual face wash, before going to bed. The following morning after rinsing this off, I have applied the facial concentrate. Now, I am not certain which of the two had triggered it, but my face went tomato red and was burning - with a clear line between scalp/neck where the product was applied (i.e. neck fine face very very red). This reaction was apparent for the rest of the day (so not a temporary reaction to application). I have to stress that I do not have sensitive skin at all and have never reacted to anything else that way. The mask had a strong fragrance, although pleasant of eucalyptus and pine or such), it makes me wonder if it is the reason for the allergic reaction (too much essential oils?). In conclusion, perhaps Aesop is good for body but not so "clean" for the face. I never usually include a photo with a review, but had to illustrate what happened to my face and including it here.

Interesting

I am a huge Aesop fan so was very interested in trying this new product after reading the product description. I got a small sample so only tried it a couple of times. The mask gives nice hydration to the skin and skin feels plumped the following day. I do however feel it needs a bit more testing before you can tell if the mask can deliver other effects it claims.

does the job

I would recommend this product if you are looking for something with natural non irritating ingredients that gets the job done. I apply this each night and wake up with very soft replenished skin. After a few nights it gets to work quite quickly and the more you use it the more long lasting the results are
