Kick start your daily beauty routine with Emma Hardie Protect and Prime SPF30, a crème that safeguards skin and hides visible imperfections in preparation for the day that lies ahead.
This lightweight cream is developed with a non-greasy formula and offers eight hours of protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays emitted by the sun. The light-diffusing particles present in the crème work to even out texture and skin tone while also ensuring that enlarged pores and fine lines are reduced in appearance.
Oat extract, mongongo oil and vitamin E form a protective barrier around the ski, helping to repair damaged skin and reducing the appearance of premature ageing signs.

May not be for everyone - but works for me
I struggle to find a good SPF that works well for me. I have oily skin, tho as I age it is less and less, and because of this a lot of SPFs end up stinging my eyes as the oil gradually goes into eyes towards the end of the afternoon. I have found that the best way for me is to have SPF already mixed into the moisturiser by the manufacturer but these usually are on the lower SPF end (e.g. SPF fifteen). I have tried various higher SPF products that are to be used on top of moisturisers and they all have my eyes stinging by 2pm and then have to give the product away to a friend. On trying a GWP 20 ml sample of this Emma Hardie SPF, it doesn't sting my eyes. I first tried it alone after serums. However, I didn't find it moisturising enough throughout the day. I then tried it after serum and moisturiser and that was better. Even better, is using it on top of a more matte moisturiser as this SPF 'cream' does have a bit of an oily finish. This is what I have been doing. And am seriously considering buying this and using alongside more matte moisturisers so that I can incorporate a higher SPF into my skincare regime. Yes- people have commented on smell and bittiness of it - and can confirm that. But I don't mind the smell and the bittiness - well if it gives me higher SPF without stinging eyes and can handle that!

Maybe for dry skin
As a person with oily skin, this is a pass for me. This product is not heavy or enormously nourishing, that would not be an issue for me. Cream is very light and runny, therefore, I thought it will be nice on my oily skin. But it is not, it leaves oily residue and what is even worse, it leaves whitecast on my skin. It is slippery so not good even under make up, as it slides and move all over my face and makes it transfer a lot easier. The best thing about it is the typical Emma Hardie fragrance, neroli heaven. I end up to use it in my hands as SPF protection.

Light but separated in the container
This was provided to me as a wee sample pot in store - I was looking for a daily moisturiser with a SPF. Did this absorb well and sit well under make up? Not quite - make up felt a little heavy on my face with this underneath. It sat well by itself - so on days I wasn't leaving the house/no ndeed for make up, then this did the job. However, I did notice that in the tin, it had separated (I opened it a few weeks after purchasing), which is not what I expect from a premium brand. Which is disappointing.

Love this!
Concerned this is about to be discontinued? Light, easily absorbed which considering it is SPF30 is impressive Smells good too, and I think it does give my face a glow I apply after the brilliance face oil, and then apply a light foundation and my skin feels moisturised and dewy all day
Best Use: Hydrating

Nice day cream
I got a little sample of this to try. I really liked it, Emma Hardie always feels soft and silky on my skin. I like the added SPF30 factor which gives me some added protection as well. The primer element is nice too, my make up goes on nicely on top and doesn't cause any piling.
Best Use: Treat Pigmentation / Dark Spots, Treat Redness, Hydrating, Reduce Puffiness
