Stays on, matte and crease free
Absolutely adore this range Stays on all day, doesn’t crease (I’m in my 40s) Shame they discontinued Ginger so now using vanilla kiss which is much lighter but does the job. I also have Sienna which is shiny but lovely and a lighter brown , perfect for shadowing Highly recommend the range for classy and everyday make up needs

au naturel not for me
I know this is a huge favourite, but I've tried using it repeatedly and always end up with crepey looking lids. I used it in au naturel, so nothing crazy or shimmery to accent any lines. Maybe it's just a product for younger faces or those without hooded eyes. My eyes are quite deep-set so I absolutely need to use a primer to prevent creasing and colour transfer from one part of the lid to another. Perhaps it doesn't work with a primer. I've tried it with 4 different ones, so it must be the shadow, not the primer. I don't have particularly wrinkly lids and this seems to create or accentuate any slight texture. I don't have this issue with other stick eye shadows when using the same primers. I like other Laura Mercier products - setting powders especially, but this is not for me.

Easy to use!
I hadn’t used an eyeshadow stick before, but decided to go for it. This product is so easy and quick to use! I went with Au Natural which is a really lovely everyday colour. Felt nice on and didn’t crease. Really pleased and have brought in another colour!

Packaging not suitable
I really liked the application of this eye shadow but as another reviewer has said I also found that on multiple occasions the crayon fell out of the actual packaging. I even bought another one thinking that maybe it was a one time issue with that particular crayon but it happened again! The lid had not been left off so the crayon had not dried out.

Easy to use
I received the full size of this in a GWP in the colour Au Natural. It's a great base colour or as I often use it to add a bit of a highlight or 'pop' to the inside of my eyelids along with a darker shade. It is super easy to use and like it says,very hydrating and doesn't crease or smudge.
