Cruelty free
I would give this negative stars if I could. I researched this brand and discovered it is NOT cruelty-free. "Shiseido does not test its cosmetic products or ingredients on animals except when absolutely mandated by law, or where there are absolutely no alternative methods for guaranteeing product safety." From the company. There is NO reason to EVER test on defenceless animals. I hope people read my review and think twice. There are buckets of cruelty-free products on the market now.

Benefiance Eye Cream by Shiseido
The formula of Shiseido's Benefiance line is fantastic and I have purchased this eye cream after using Shiseido's Benefiance WrinkleResist24 eye mask in the past. My eye area felt smoother, and hydrated with reduced wrinkles. The texture is quite rich and a little goes a long way, for those reconsidering this product due to its price. I would say this is a decent eye cream that does not disappoint. I am giving this product one star down with the hope that the lovely people of Shiseido will consider turning their otherwise great company into a cruelty-free one in the future.

Best ever eye cream
I’ve been using this eye cream for over 25 years and I’ve never thought of writing a review on it until now. Whilst the price has gone up in 25 years the quality of the product has remained the same. It’s a thick under eye cream that I use religiously at night and in the morning under my make up. I had tried several other eye creams over the years but I always go back to this. I just hope they NEVER discontinue it.

Eye cream may be great, but concerning customer service
Used a sample, loved it, purchased full size. Felt different. Contacted Shiseido customer service who said there have been no formula changes within the past year. Ingredients say otherwise. Dishonest.
